Life in the Ark

When it comes to a family like our, it becomes obvious to everyone that the whole life of the "Ark" is one big project. For such an organization that lives and develops solely thanks to the generosity of many friends who care about us - by the way, this is what is surprising in many, as many associate the word "orphanage" with the adjective "state", which means state funding - food, clothing, medicine, school, home maintenance are part of our daily care. Without all this, there would be no room for individual projects. What we call “projects” are different types of activities, the purpose of which is to develop a certain aspect of children's lives, or these are extraordinary events that are necessary for family life (for example, building a new building or repairing an old one). Here is a list of current projects and the needs of each project at the moment.

Sewing classroom

It was created several years ago as a "class". After the decision was made to hire a competent person to teach the art to those who wanted to work seriously, a small team was created, which today includes 4 adults with one form or another of disability, who do custom-made things, gadgets, and home-made clothes, original models developed over time.

For some time we were supported by some friends - Mila, Stephanie - who periodically contributed their design experience and even helped us create a line of children's clothing.

NEEDS - We are looking for people with experience and creativity to inspire our children and at the same time expand our product range. Even when consulting online.

The idea was born after seeing what interest the sewing workshop was causing, and at the same time realizing that rarely such work would interest the boys. We want to create a circle of interest where it will be possible to begin to create some initially simple, and then more complex and professional products under the guidance of a master.

At the moment, the necessary tools for the first level of activity have been acquired. This was made possible thanks to the valuable contribution of KPMG and STAMGazStroy.
